Mohammad Rahman is a Chartered Professional Engineer and data-centric water engineering specialist with over 20 years’ experience in hydraulic engineering, stormwater design, and climate-resilient urban infrastructure. At SMEC, he works as a designer on major nationwide infrastructure alliance projects, supporting large-scale urban and transport developments through practical water engineering solutions and innovative approaches that create the greatest value. Mohammad is currently undertaking a PhD at Western Sydney University focused on AI-enabled green infrastructure and urban resilience. His work explores how intelligent systems, digital engineering, and nature-based solutions can shape future cities and infrastructure delivery. A regular international conference speaker, he is passionate about advancing adaptive, sustainable, and climate-ready infrastructure.
