Mr Nguyen Thai Hung brings experience in the Vietnamese cement industry as General Director of Cam Pha Cement JSC. A recognised advocate for low‑carbon, high‑performance cement, he has led Cam Pha’s transition toward circular‑economy practices, including:
- Commissioning one of Vietnam’s first waste‑heat recovery power plants in a cement facility, cutting grid electricity demand by ≈ 25 %.
- Introducing blended cements with ≥ 30 % supplementary cementitious materials, lowering clinker factor and saving an estimated 190 kg CO₂/tonne of product.
- Achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification ahead of schedule, and publishing the company’s inaugural ESG report in 2024.
