Nicola Lemon
Nicola is an influential leader, well recognised within property, human services and the living sectors.
Nicola is currently the Head of Housing Strategy at Westpac, responsible for leading the development and execution of the Group Wide Housing Strategy.
Nicola brings extensive experience to the role, having dedicated her 30 year, purpose driven career to increasing the availability and affordability of housing.
Her previous roles include;
National Social and affordable Housing Lead partner at KPMG, advising governments, private developers and financiers and rental housing operators.
As CEO of Hume Community Housing, she was charged with improving outcomes for 1 in every 1,000 NSW residents, overseeing the management of $1.5bn in government and community assets, capital raising, property development and community services. Prior to moving to Australia, Nicola held senior roles in large UK housing associations, responsible for delivering significant development pipelines and managing a diverse range of living-sector accommodation.
Nicola has also held sector wide governance roles, including Chair of PowerHousing Australia and Vice Chair of the International Housing Partnership, contributing to national and global housing policy reform, notably leading to the establishment of what is now Housing Australia.
