Nolita Ryan is a Registered Architect and Senior Design Manager at Icon, bringing over 25 years of experience across the construction industry. Her career encompasses consultancy, project management, Practice Management, and Design Management roles in Australia, China, Southeast Asia, the USA, and Europe.

Known for her commitment to equity, education, and mentorship, Nolita is the former co-chair of the NAWIC ACT Education Chapter, the NAWIC NSW Education Chair, a business mentor with the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce, and a Voluntary Adult Tutor.

Nolita was instrumental in creating and implementing the ‘EMPOWER Strathnairn’ Program to support Objective 2 under the ACT Women’s Plan (2016-26). The program is currently in place on Icon’s Strathnairn School project.

Initiatives under EMPOWER Strathnairn encompass mentoring, wellness, mental health, professional development, education, community engagement, and support.

Nolita was recently awarded the NAWIC ACT Crystal Vision Award.
