Paul Rosenberg Vella is the National Manager of ALD, Co-Founder of Refit8, and an Advisor to LOOP Solutions.

At ALD, he leads national operations for one of Australia’s most advanced commercial demolition and resource recovery contractors, with a strong focus on sustainable defit, material recovery, and systems-based delivery. He works closely with clients, designers, manufacturers, consultants, and asset owners to deliver high-performance outcomes—consistently achieving recovery rates above 90% while aligning with Green Star, ESG, and circular economy objectives.

As Co-Founder of Refit8 (launching in 2026), Paul is helping to build a technology platform suite and device that redefines commercial defit by combining scalable systems, supply-chain innovation, and design-for-reuse principles—accelerating the transition toward a circular built environment and material and asset identification.

He also serves as a Board Member of ResiLoop, supporting industry-wide initiatives to develop closed-loop recycling pathways for commercial resilient flooring.

In his advisory role with LOOP Solutions, Paul contributes to the development of commercial pathways for adaptive reuse, regenerative design, repair, rehoming, and recycling across built form and FF&E including sustainable material innovation.

Previously, Paul co-founded REVERT, where he played a key role in developing early-stage models for material tracking across commercial fitout waste streams and pathways.

With over a decade of experience spanning client-side project management, head contracting, demolition, resource recovery, and sustainability, Paul brings deep operational insight and a strong national network. His experience ranges from on-ground delivery through to collaboration with working groups, technical specialists, policy advocates, and philanthropic initiatives.

Paul believes that true circularity in the built environment will only be achieved through solutions that are not only technically credible, but commercially viable—and he is committed to designing and scaling those systems.
