Pauline Turner
Pauline Turner is a community development strategist based in Melbourne’s outer west, working at the intersection of new communities, social infrastructure and place-based community building.
She leads the community development strategy at Woodlea, the leading masterplanned community in Melbourne’s west, focusing on evidence-based approaches that strengthen local capacity, participation and social connection.
As the creator of the Community Builders program, Pauline works with residents, local leaders and organisations to design and run their own initiatives, building local ownership while strengthening the long-term resilience and success of new communities.
At Sydney Build, she will share practical insights on how community development can be integrated into the planning and delivery of growth-area projects, and how community-building programs can strengthen demand, build purchaser confidence and support long-term value for both developers and communities.
