Phil Ridley is a defence industry specialist currently engaged with the Bradfield Development Authority (BDA), where he is helping shape the defence and advanced manufacturing ecosystem for Bradfield City, Australia’s first new city in over a century.
In his role as Defence Sector Specialist, Phil works across government, primes, SMEs, and the broader supply chain to position Bradfield as a strategic hub for sovereign capability, advanced manufacturing, and defence innovation. He focuses on attracting investment, enabling industry participation, and aligning emerging precinct capabilities with national defence priorities.
Phil brings deep experience across defence sector engagement, industry development, and capability building, with a strong understanding of the intersection between government policy, industrial capacity, and supply chain resilience.
