Statement: In order for the industry to continue to grow and improve there is a need to address equality and encourage women to pursue careers in construction. Construction industry as a whole can develop strategies to not only attract more women to the industry but be able to retain them long term. Working on barriers women face when entering a male dominated industry is a great place to start.
