Mental Health in Construction Ambassador Statement: The construction industry’s high-stress conditions, long hours, and physical demands can take a toll, as I experienced firsthand with burnout and the permanent loss of hearing in one ear during my career. Discussing mental health openly and challenging stigma is essential to foster understanding, promote access to support, and reduce the risk of serious health issues, ultimately improving workplace safety and morale.
