Sharon Stevenson
Sharon Stevenson is a energetic leader in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Social Sustainability with over 17 years’ experience delivering inclusive workforce strategies across Australia’s major infrastructure projects. She has worked for Tier 1 companies including Lendlease, John Holland, and Transdev, and now leads social inclusion for Seymour Whyte on Sydney Water’s Upper South Creek Network Program.
Her career highlights include key roles on Transport for NSW projects, such as Sydney Metro’s Martin Place and Victoria Cross stations, and major water sector programs including the Advanced Water Recycling Centre, and North West Hub Alliance. Sharon is recognised for being outcomes focused, embedding DEI frameworks, Aboriginal participation, and social procurement into complex projects, achieving Gold-level ratings under the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Version 2.1 framework.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Science, a Master of Psychotherapy & Counselling (ACAP), and Business Sustainability Management Certificate from the University of Cambridge. She is passionate about mentoring and lifting others up, creating inclusive pathways in infrastructure, and driving measurable social impact.
