Susanne is a Design Coordinator at BESIX Watpac, where she has spent the past two years contributing her expertise across a diverse range of infrastructure and government sector projects in NSW. With 18 years of industry experience, she brings extensive knowledge across, major transport infrastructure projects, complex hospital developments and residential developments of varying scale.

Recognised for her commitment to design excellence and meticulous attention to detail, Susanne is passionate about delivering high-quality, well-coordinated outcomes across every phase of design and project delivery. Her strong architectural background underpins her ability to navigate complexity, foster collaboration, and align clients, consultants, and stakeholders around practical, integrated solutions.

Beyond project delivery, Susanne is a dedicated advocate for inclusive leadership and cultural change within the built environment sector. At BESIX Watpac, she actively participates in the Lean In Circle Group — an internal network that champions women’s leadership, promotes workplace inclusion, and supports professional growth and development.

Previously, Susanne served for six years as an Implementation Leader with the Champions of Change Architecture Group, where she championed gender equity, cultural diversity, and the advancement of women into leadership roles across the industry.

Returning for her third year at Sydney Build Expo, Susanne will speak on “The Importance of Allyship – Supporting Colleagues from Diverse Backgrounds”, sharing practical insights on how individuals and organisations can foster inclusive cultures where diverse talent can thrive.
