Trevor Puckeridge
Health And Safety Advisor,
Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure
I grew up in Dubbo, NSW, where my father’s union work with the CFMEU shaped my early understanding of worker rights. Starting work at 15, I held multiple jobs through school—from Woolworths and Coles to apprenticeships as a motor mechanic and various roles in retail finance and telecommunications. My career evolved through positions at Optus, Ozemail, and Fujitsu before running my own personal training and networking businesses, focusing on rehabilitation and professional development. Returning to credit management, I worked for Reed Elsevier UK and later transitioned into construction, with hands-on experience across civil, commercial, and aviation projects. Currently a Safety Advisor and Mental Health First Aider at Abergeldie, I advocate for both physical and mental wellbeing at work. Having lost loved ones to suicide, I’m passionate about breaking stigma, encouraging open conversations, and ensuring workers feel valued, supported, and heard.
