Foundations are out of rail systems, but my perspectives are much broader. I operate where engineering, operations, commercial pressure and governance collide, helping teams stay on the path to outcomes when stakes are high, time is short, and opinions are loud.

I’ve led organisations and programs through strategy, delivery, commissioning and transition into operations across heavy rail, metro and light rail, with the occasional major road tunnel included. My effectiveness comes from deeply acquired technical, process and operational knowledge of complex systems, combined with strong, trusted networks across industry. That depth keeps decision-making real and informed — and recognises that railways and major infrastructure are a team game.

Comfortable at Board and Executive table level, I translate technical and operational risk into practical choices that support sound financial decisions. I value clarity over complexity, steady progress over heroics, and delivery that holds together long after the pressure has passed.
