His longstanding experience and corporate track record of senior leadership, management and coaching within leading corporations has developed a renowned reputation in the sector, with BESc (Civil), MESc (Civil), MBA, GradDip (Building Surveying), MIEAust, CPEng, NER, RPEQ Registered Structural Engineer NSW, Registered Structural Engineer Victoria and PHD candidacy credentials.

In addition to the structural designing of residential and commercial buildings, prefabricated buildings, modular buildings, deep foundations, soil retaining structures, temporary structures and non-structural components of buildings, in recent years Ali has been involved in research, investigations and testing to reduce the issue of creaking noises within walls and ceiling systems, largely found in high rise buildings.
