Angela started her career in construction as a building intern in 2004. She has steadily progressed her career over the past 15 years with her love for buildings and passion for being able to transform someone’s vision from drawings to something real.
Beyond working as a design manager at Richard Crookes Constructions, Angela spends her spare time supporting people in construction to create the life of their dreams This includes helping women in the construction industry find their voice, confidence and build successful careers whilst creating the work-life balance that they desire, through sharing her own experiences, learnings and success.
Angela is strong believer that you can have everything you want and has helped many women in the construction industry achieve exactly that. She is passionate about reducing the statistic on suicide, depression and anxiety in our industry. Angela has recently published her book, Armour, the truth behind the E & F word in Construction as part of her mission to create a more positive environment for people to feel safe to work on themselves and creating the life of their dreams. Having faced some of her biggest challenges in life in her early 30s, Angela believes that in order to create the life and career that you desire, you must first work on yourself and face your inner demons, fears, feelings and emotions head-on, and allow your wounds become your superpower.
