Eduardo Portillo, a mechanical engineer from Venezuela, has accumulated over seven years of experience in Sydney as a drafter. 

His skill set combines mechanical engineering expertise with a flair for creativity and technology. As a proficient drafter, he excels in creating intricate drawings, animations, automation, and data visualization using Blender (a free and opensource software), all while harnessing the power of Python programming. 

Eduardo's notable contribution to the monumental "Sydney Gateway" project exemplifies his innovative approach. In this project, he played a crucial role in providing real-time force data for temporary bridge bearings, skillfully presenting this complex information in an interactive, user-friendly format within Blender. His meticulous 3D modeling and data visualization skills empower users to effortlessly grasp and manipulate intricate engineering data. Additionally, Eduardo's expertise extends to extracting essential data from Blender files, streamlining tasks like anchor installation through the automation of Python scripting. 

Eduardo's passion for learning and technical excellence led him to participate in the 2023 Blender conference, where he shared his expertise on integrating input and output data for engineering construction projects. 

Eduardo's innovative spirit has not gone unnoticed, as he stands nominated for an "Innovation Award" at Freyssinet, the company where he proudly contributes. His journey, from a Blender hobbyist to an indispensable contributor in engineering and construction, is a testament to his unwavering dedication and adaptability.
