Harvey is a Principal and Sector Leader – Living, encompassing Buchan’s residential, hospitality and build-to-rent (BTR) portfolios. A practicing architect of more than 30 years, Harvey brings extensive knowledge of residential, community focused living and BTR success in the UK and US to the firm. His most recent work spans hotel, residential, commercial, cultural and mixed-use architectural projects in Australia, India, Japan, Korea and China. Harvey’s designs are grounded in an insightful approach to how buildings work, balancing commercial viability with delivering environmental and community benefits. A Registered Green Star Professional, he is a leader in architectural and masterplan design and project coordination of cultural and civic projects, medium to large scale residential, hotel, commercial, bespoke mixed-use and retail projects. The skills he brings to them is strong strategic planning, conceptual judgement, but primarily, learnings from all sectors and cultures to test his designs and realise innovative solutions.
