Senior Consultant, Computational Design, Aurecon
Max Marschall is a Senior Computational Designer and Sustainability Consultant, as well as the Digital Coordinator for Aurecon’s Built Environment team in Victoria, Australia. He has a background in architecture and urban planning, with a strong specialist focus on computational design, parametric modelling, and environmental and building performance simulation. At Aurecon, he delivers bespoke sustainable design concepts for building design projects, and conducts parametric studies to inform design decision-making based on a range on metrics related to human comfort and well-being, usability, energy performance, and lifecycle carbon emissions. He also leads initiatives to develop in-house software modules to increase efficiency and enhance design processes within Aurecon. He completed a PhD in Architecture at RMIT University on modelling occupant behaviour in building performance simulations.
