Neil Christopher has over 20 years of lifestyle and workplace experience with a strong design portfolio that spans complex retail, hospitality, residential and workplace projects of various scales across sectors. As a Design Director at Gensler Sydney, his award-winning works are guided by a design approach focused on human-centric design, creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking perspective with a structured, detailed process. Having worked extensively throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and New Zealand, his leadership further extends to his role as the Co-Regional Practice Area Leader for technology. In this role, he leads the region’s thought-leadership and market position around major design and strategy projects across the public and private sectors. He is widely acknowledged as an expert in his field and is highly regarded as an invaluable strategic partner to all his clients with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex workplace strategy, change management, post occupancy evaluations, and global guideline projects for clients and creating efficient design delivery processes. His recent notable projects include Johnson & Johnson Future of Work, Intercontinental Adelaide Refurbishment and 555 Collins Melbourne. Neil believes in the power of mentorship and gives back through services that impact architecture students to help shape their career paths. He is a lecturer and course convenor with the University of New South Wales in Interior Architecture.
