Phillip  Rossington

Phillip Rossington

Principal, BVN

Phillip Rossington is a Principal of BVN and a registered architect with 25 years of experience in award winning residential, commercial, educational and interior projects. Phillip’s portfolio of work also includes heritage/adaptive re-use and sustainable design projects. Graduating from University of Newcastle in 1991 with honours and the NSW RAIA Design Medal, Phillip has since tutored at the University of Newcastle and the University of New South Wales. Recent work includes a series of design excellence competition winning schemes such as the Greenland Residential Tower, Sydney’s tallest residential tower and MLC Senior School which was awarded the 2020 William E Kemp Award. Phillip is currently design directing a new 50 storey Residential Tower over Tattersall Club in Sydney CBD and the re-imagining of the brutalist “Sirius” Building in The Rocks.

Prior to joining BVN in 2010, Phillip was a Director of Tzannes Associates. He designed or co-directed many award winning projects, including the Bilgola Beach Residence which received the 2010 Wilkinson Award from the NSW division of the AIA.
