Sylvia is a highly experienced professional engineer with over 13 years of experience leading engineering teams and functions. Among my responsibilities have been train build and delivery projects, compliance, independent assurance, operation support, asset management, and configuration as well as design engineering.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UOW, she entered the Rail industry world to explore her passion for transport, and joined Downer as a graduate engineer.

She currently works as Engineering Manager TLS NSW, Rolling Stock Services where she applies her results-driven vision through people, enabling her to define a strategic framework that defines the processes, targets, and objectives necessary to empower a high-performing team and promote a positive work environment.

Being authentic and using innovative lateral thinking, Sylvia enjoys a challenge, and she shows that the real power lies in taking incremental but effective daily steps towards achieving results.
