Is there an entrance fee?
General tickets to Sydney Build is free. This includes access to all conferences, summits, panel discussions and exhibitions.
What type of tickets are there?

Can I register on the day?
Yes but we’d strongly encourage you to register online beforehand to avoid queues and delays.
Can I register colleagues too?
Yes, absolutely! If you know the details of your colleague(s) you can add them to your registration at the bottom on the first page.

Can children attend the expo?
Persons under the ages of 18 are not permitted to attend the exhibition due to the nature of some exhibits on display.
Can students enter?
We do encourage education and learning at the events. Although the event is aimed at a B2B audience we do allow university and college students to attend the event. Students may attend only if they are over 18 years of age.
Can I take photographs at the event?
Yes, we encourage you to take photos and videos and be proactive on social media if you like the event. The event hashtag is #SydneyBuild.
Will photos of attendees be taken at the event?
Yes, we will have designated official photographers who will be capturing Sydney Build over the two day period. These photos will be used for marketing materials. By attending the event you are giving us permission to be able to use these photos in future brochures and promotional material.
Can international visitors attend?
Yes, but pleased be advised that you are responsible for obtaining all the required documentation to enter Australia. The organiser is only able to help exhibitors and international speakers with invitation letters. We are not able to provide letters for attendees from overseas.
Does Sydney Build support any Visa Applications?
Please note the organisers do not provide any invitational letters to international visitors.
Is parking available?

Is WiFi available?
WiFi will be available onsite, further details will be provided at the venue.
Is there food & beverage at the venue?
Yes - Sydney Build will have a designated cafe area where you can purchase a range of food and drinks. Many other local restaurants and bars are located a short walk away from the ICC.
What is the LinkedIn lounge?

What is CIVENEX?
CIVENEX is co-located with the Sydney Build Expo and organised by the IPWEA NSW. The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia NSW Division is the professional membership organisation that provides services and advocacy for those involved in delivering public works and engineering services to the community. IPWEA has been established as a charity with the purpose of advancing the public works sector in Australia particularly in NSW.

What is the Transport & Roads Expo?
The first large-scale exhibition of its kind to unite all the key players and stakeholders in the public transport and roads industries in NSW. The event is co-hosted with the Sydney Build Expo and CIVENEX.

Who are the advisory board and what do they do?
The advisory board are made up of industry leading Builders, Contractors, Architects, Developers, Surveyors, Government, Charities and Experts who work within the built environment sector. The board help steer, focus and guide the content of the Sydney Build Exhibition and partner events that are run alongside it. What are the Australian Construction awards (ACA)?
The Australian Construction Awards recognises the achievements, developments and innovation within Australia’s booming construction industry and features a wide range of categories for solution providers, contractors, architects, developers and local authorities. Where is the ACA?
The ACA will be help at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
How do I get a ticket to the ACA?

When is the deadline to enter?
Deadline for nominations are 23rd November 2019.
When is the shortlist announced for the ACA?
The shortlist will be announced on the 31st January 2020.
When are the winners accounted for the ACA?
The winners will be announced at the Awards evening dinner on the 19th March 2020.
Can I attend the event on both days?
Absolutely. Your one ticket will give you access to both days of the event.
Can I reserve a seat at one of the speaking sessions?
No but there is plenty of seating and standing space around each conference. We’d recommend you get there 15 mins early to get a good view.
